China Shipping International Shipyard Co.,Ltd. is a large modern joint venture company, which is recombined at the investment of China Shipping Group Company (Hong Kong) and China Shipping Industrial Company together.

The shipyard was the first Chinese company in the shiprepair industry which was certified by DnV for Integrated management system, Quality/Environment, Occupapational Health and Safety.

China Shipping Industry Co. – CIC (HQ) (Area: NOR, SWE, DEN)
China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd (CIC) was established in 1998.

CIC core business is ship repair, dry docking and ship Conversion. The shipyard is located on the Changxing Island, abt 45 min drive, via a tunnel, from Shanghai City. The shipyard operates 3 floating docks:

247×36.6×8.5 m, lifting capacities 22.000 tons,
308x50x17.5 m, lifting capacities 38.000 tons,
410x72x18.5 m, lifting capacities 85.000 tons.

The shipyard has 4.2 km of safe quay space which is operated with 23 cranes upto 2×60 tons. With over 5000 workers the shipyard is among the largest shipyards in China and the largest repair and conversions shipyard in Shanghai area.

Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Co., Ltd. – GWS (Area: NOR,SWE)
Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Co., Ltd. (GWS) is a large shipbuilding, shiprepairing and heavy industry enterprise in the south China, capable of repairing more than 140 ships ranging under 200,000 DWT and building 8 ships of 25,000 DWT annually.

GWS is specialized in new building of full container ship series, dredger series, oil product tanker and multi-purpose cargo ship. The main heavy industry products include, harbor facility all kinds of cranes, steel structure of bridge & high building, aluminum/brass molded extruder, etc.

Fujian Huadong Shipyard

Fujian Huadong Shipyard is located in the north coast of Fujian Luoyuan Bay – northern latitude 26o 27，N，eastern longitude 119o 43 E – which is the most ideal deep-water shelter port in mainland China.

The Shipyard covers an area of about 700,000sq.meters and has a deep-water shoreline of about 2,250m. The shipyard operates three graving docks whit a capacity of

1. 400,000DWT (375m X 72m),
2. 170,000DWT (295m X 50m)
3. 100,000DWT (245m X41.8m)

The shipyard also includes a slipway with a capacity of 50,000 DWT, repair pier of about 1,300m with 6 berths and modern workshops of about 50,000 sqm.

The shipyards location in Luoyuan Bay has advantages such as its water depth, flow of current and  the sheltering condition.

The shipyard will develop a 2nd phase project with focus on marine engineering. A new building dock of 240m X 120m for marine engineering and offshore project is expected to be constructed with supporting facilities. After the 2^nd phase of expansion is finished and completion the Shipyard will become the most important and ideal ship repairing and marine engineering manufacturing base from South of  Zhoushan to the North of the mouth of the Pearl River, in the area of Guangzhou.
