Oresund Drydocks

Oresund Drydocks AB has been in the new building and ship repair market since 1915. The shipyard is privately owned and has during the last decade focused on ship repair and conversions.

The shipyard operates a Graving dock of 195x34x7 m with Azimuth pit No 1: 9x5x4.9m from the keel Blocks and Azimuth Pit No. 2, 14x9x3.5m. Crane lifting capacities are 50 & 20 ton.

Floating dock of 165x28x8 m, lifting capacities of 12.000 tons. Azimuth Pit No 1, 5.50×2.40×2.65m, Azimuth Pit No 2, 3.5x6x3.3m. Crane capacity 2×15 ton.

Extensive repairs have been executed alongside the shipyards 800 m quay on all kind of ship types from Ice breakers, RoRo, container ships, chemical/product tankers, RoPax/cruise ships as well as Offshore vessels etc. Scrubber conversions and lengthening of vessels are type of conversions the shipyard is most familiar with.

Depth alongside the quays is up to 9 m with crane capacities up to 180 tons. The shore power is 400/440V – 50/60 HZ up to 2000 A. Steel fabrication halls of 100.000 sqm, indoor areas of 35.000 sqm with 200 tons lifting capacity.

The shipyards mechanical workshop performs regular works on Main engines, shafts and bushings, incl manufacturing. Ultrasonic cleaning of gen sets, heat exchangers, intercoolers and charged air filter elements etc.

The shipyard is conveniently and strategically located in the heart of the Baltic straits, only 45 min from Copenhagen and about 5.5 hrs drive from Oslo, Norway.  The shipyard has regular clients from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, and The Netherlands etc.
