Hidramar Group is a family owned company that started in 1989 as a hydraulic workshop in the Las Palmas Port.

Through the last two decades fueled by the Oil and Gas Industry we have experienced a great development establishing two shipyards in two different locations on the Canary Islands, Las Palmas and Tenerife.

Based in the strategic location in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, connecting three continents (America, Europe and Africa), the shipyard has a verified track record to deliver quality solutions supported by strong engineering department and highly qualified technicians.

The shipyards offer a 24/7 round the clock assistance to all our customers with outmost focus and dedication. The shipyard Group has a professional team formed by more than 250 skilled workers, including high quality engineers for the planning, risk assessment, management as well as experienced and certified mechanics, hydraulics, electricians, welders, painters, boilers, scaffolders, etc.

FACILITIES AT REINA SOFIA QUAYSIDE (ISPS) – LAS PALMAS.

In the third quarter of 2017 after an aggressive 18 month building campaign we completed the construction work and development of an existing aggregate holding zone to create our new secure World Class quayside facility, located at Reina Sofia Dique, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The facility now consisting of:

• 5200m2 lay down area with 50 tons/m2.
• 2000m2 fabrication and storage area.
• 2000m2 workshop area with 20 and 40 tons overhead crane.
• CNC Oil Country Lathe for drill pipe box & pin connections.
• 600 tons crane operation capacity.
• High Pressure pit suitable for 36,000 PSI testing.
• Drill Pipe cleaning UHP buffing machine.

Quayside:

Water depth is 20m at quay and increases in angle to 26m
Quayside length is 185m up to 230m, accommodates drillship with special permission.

Shore Generator 60 Hz Portable water connection.
